In The Good Ol' Summertime

We could get away this summer for a few days.  It was a very relaxing time in Northern Minnesota.  We don't have too many loons this far south so I just had to capture them on film.  It is the most beautiful sound except when one is close to shore and can't get out right away.  Fishing was good.  Brian taught me how to put a worm on the hook and a friend of mine taught me how to take a fish off.  It took me a little bit to get up my courage, but I did both.  I still don't like slimy things, but at least my kids had something to laugh about when I did it for the first time.
