Welcome...

The Country Register of Tennessee & Kentucky is published every two months. Each issue contains a wide variety of feature stories, press releases, fun stuff, recipes, project ideas, and other items of interest.

We hope you enjoy each issue and pick up an extra to share with a friend, a neighbor, or relative. Subscriptions are a nice gift to someone who cannot get out and about to pick up a paper at one of the advertisers. Who would not want to know where the best shops in their state are!

Currently, The Country Register of Tennessee & Kentucky is a joint enture. The reader benefits by having information for two states and the advertiser reaches customers in both Kentucky and Tennessee.  What a deal!

Read our current issue and our previous issue online.  Click on the CURRENT ISSUE tab at the top of this page and enjoy.

SPOTLIGHT ON A TENNESSEE BUSINESS

Rebecca's Thyme

Pigeon Forge

Rebecca Clark has come home!!! Home to the mountains of east Tennessee and home to primitives in her shop on Wears Valley Road, just outside of Pigeon Forge. After packing and moving with her husband, John, on his many jaunts through several cities as the corporate world beckoned, she has returned to Tennessee. John said it is now “Rebecca’s time”, hence the birth of her own shop, aptly named Rebecca’s Thyme.
Now that Rebecca has been home for four years the shop is thriving and doing well. Since she began spending her thyme on Wears Valley Road, Rebecca has added more handmade items each year. Rebecca has met many local artists who craft quality primitives. She has been proud to add their handcrafted items to the assortment of treasures in the store.
Rebecca’s Thyme is popular with the visitors and locals, alike. Rebecca’s customers, from many different states, become her friends and make it a point to stop in on their return trips.
You will find this stone house filled with wonderful primitives, the decorating style for which Rebecca has a definitive affinity. She can provide decorating services, and specializes in primitives, lighting, home furnishings that are locally handmade, and more.
Her love for the quaint and the primitive are obvious as you peruse her store and make your selections. In amongst her treasures you will develop your own attachment for the old and the primitive. Come by Wears Valley while you’re in the mountains and say hello to Rebecca at Rebecca’s Thyme. She will share her ramblings and her fascination with primitives.
To be added to Rebecca’s mailing list e-mail her at rebeccasthyme@yahoo.com or call 865-805-8305. You won’t want to miss the announcements for her Fall and Christmas Open House events.
Remember, make Rebecca’s Thyme part of your Pigeon Forge visit. You’ll be glad you did, we promise!!!

Think About This...

Quilting is my passion,

Chocolate comes in a close second.

If I stitch fast enough, does it count for aerobic exercise?
