SERVICES

The Country Register of Kentucky and Tennessee was designed to be a major link in connecting interested customers with all of the following: Specialty Gift Shops including Home and Garden Decor´, old-fashioned Country and Victorian shops as well as what is considered Modern Country furniture and accessories, antiques and collectibles, tea shops and tea rooms, the quilting and needlework industry, and various current crafts such as stamping, scrapbooking, paper arts and beading as well as special services and bed and breakfasts in the states of Tennessee & Kentucky.

The publication is full of stories and useful information for readers interested in the various shopping possibilities and activities going on locally.

The Country Register gives shop owners a place to promote, inform and even try out their writing skills if they so desire.

The Country Register newspaper makes a handy 'carry it with you kind of guide'. Many travelers call ahead for a copy to plan stops along the way.

BILLING

Advertising that is published in The Country Register can be billed two ways. The first option would be to send in your payment with your camera-ready or rough draft ad on or before the deadline for that issue. That qualifies for a 10% prepayment discount.

If you decide to send in your camera-ready or rough draft ad without payment, your second option is to be billed via mai or over the internet,l with payment being due upon receipt.

Any payment not paid after 30 days from billing will be considered past-due. If a past due payment remains on your account for more than 90 days, advertising will not be available to you in future publications until payment is made. After that time period, accounts may be sent to collections. Late fees will also be applied.

Invoices are now mailed seperately from the paper.

A $25 charge applies for new ad design. Color is an additional 25%. Prepay and receive a 10% discount.

*Little Bits of Country Ads are reserved for services other than shops. Also, not for bed and breakfast, resort, or other places that are not home based businesses. These ads include home based businesses, events looking for potential vendors, websites, and such. Call for more information.

Ad prices are per issue. Our rates are extremely low and cover a two month period of time each issue.

We have doubled the circulation in just one year! Now double the bang for your buck - two states, 16,000 copies all for one low price. Do the math - Advertise in six consecutive issues - A 1/4 page ad in black and white will cost only 1 cent per copy. A 5" x 4" ad will run .0069 cents per copy. Keep in mind the average is even better than that because the paper is available online to the whole world and readers often share their paper copies with friends. It is about time you called to reserve a spot in our next issue.

AD REQUIREMENTS

A first time set up fee of $25 is applied to new ads only when we create your ad. Future minor changes thereafter do not have a charge. We accept properly prepared camera ready ads. These can be sent as black and white hard copies or as electronic jpegs, tifs or pdf's at a resolution of 300 dpi or higher.

Space for color can become limited especially at holiday time so please call for availability.

DISTRIBUTION

The Country Register is mainly distributed back through each advertising place of businessand all state welcome centers. It can also be found at various shows and special events around the states of Kentucky & Tennessee and at various select locations with racks.
