How 'Country' has changed...
Since naming our publication The Country Register, 'country' has taken on a whole new meaning and personality. Todays 'country' look can mean many different things. It can be very primitive, it can be folksy, it can be formal or informal, it can include the cottage or cabin lodge look, the shabby look or take on a very sophisticated 'modern' country look. There certainly is something for every decor´.
Many decorating styles are incorporating antiques, vintage and/or architectural elements. Our antique and collectible shops offer many treasures to tuck into a home to make it cozier. Furniture made many years ago was made to last and offers styling that never goes out of style. Antiques fit well with quilts and the quilting industry is at an all time high. Not only are many, many people learning how to quilt but there is an abundance of quilts offered for sale. Some are hand-made while others are mass produced. The colors available and quilt styles are unlimited.
Our readership is for many age groups and many style preferances. You will find that the shops have expanded to include a wide variety of current and up to date offerings for the selective buyer.
So, whatever your tastes, The Country Register works in town, in the country and for the big-city folks as well. This publication serves as a great guide as you plan your outings and projects.
All we ask in exchange for providing you with this complimentary guide is to tell the advertisers that you found them through The Country Register.
Each advertiser loves to know that their advertising dollars are working for them. They each receive papers to give as a free gift to their customers and in return, the customers will return every two months for the next edition of the paper.
We encourage our readers to call and tell us when a new shop opens in their area that would benefit from our readership.
