The Country Register of Texas was designed to be a major link in connecting interested customers with all of the following: Specialty Gift Shops including Home and Garden Decor, old-fashioned Country and Victorian shops as well as what is considered Modern Country furniture and accessories, antiques and collectibles, tea shops and tea rooms, the quilting and needlework industry, and various current crafts such as stamping, scrapbooking, paper arts and beading as well as special services and bed and breakfasts in the state of Texas.

The publication is full of stories and useful information for readers interested in the various shopping possibilities and activities going on locally.

The Country Register gives shop owners a place to promote, inform and even try out their writing skills if they so desire.

The Country Register newspaper makes a handy 'carry it with you kind of guide' and it's layout makes for the need of less maps. It guides the reader according to areas of the state and within a city as well as putting special shows and events into their own section.

PAYMENT TERMS

We accept payment submitted with your camera-ready ad in the form of check or money-order.

If you decide to send in your camera-ready or rough draft ad without payment, your second option is pay via Visa or MasterCard.

Certain long-time or large corporate advertisers may be granted terms of Net 15. Accounts are considered delinquent after 30 days. Advertising will not be available for customers with delinquent accounts.

All ad prices are for one (1) bi-monthly issue; therefore 3 and 6-issue agreements are for a minimum 1/2 and 1 full year of continuous advertising, respectively.

Different size ads can be chosen for each issue of an agreement time frame.

Sign a 3 or 6-issue agreement, for volume discount pricing.

Full color ads are available for 1/4 page ads or larger in limited quantity for an additional $50 for 1/4 page, $75 for 1/2 page, and $100 for 3/4 and full page ads. Please ask if interested.

If you do not have an existing ad, we can and will design an ad for you for $20 to $100 depending on size. A minimum $20 fee applies for each time there is a major ad change.

Sell It, Tell It, Buy It Ads are not for businesses with regular store hours. These ads are typically prepaid.

AD REQUIREMENTS

A first time set up fee of $20 - $100 is applied to new ads only when we create your ad. Future minor changes thereafter do not have a charge. We accept properly prepared camera ready ads. These can be sent as black and white hard copies or as electronic jpegs, tifs or pdf's at a resolution of 300 dpi or higher.

Space for color can become limited especially at holiday time so please call for availability.

DISTRIBUTION

The Country Register is mainly distributed back through each advertising place of business with a circulation of 20,000+ per issue, depending on the number of advertisers and the season. It can also be found at various shows and special events around the state of Texas and at various select locations with racks. It is also available at several visitor centers (including Texas welcome centers at border-entry points) and chamber offices where adverisers are located.
