The Country Register of Southern Idaho, Washington & Eastern Oregon was designed to be a major
link in connecting interested customers with all of the following: Specialty Gift Shops including Home and Garden Decor´, old-fashioned Country and Victorian shops as well as what is considered Modern Country furniture and assecceries, antiques and collectibles, tea shops and tea rooms, the quilting and needlework industry, and various current crafts such as stamping, scrapbooking, paper arts and beading as well as special services and bed and breakfasts in the state of Southern Idaho, Washington & Eastern Oregon.
The publication is full of stories and useful information for
readers interested in the various shopping possibilities and
activities going on locally. The information is presented in
a much less intimidating fashion than other reference books and
newspapers available. It also serves to inform
the public of upcoming events in the afore mentioned areas.
The Country Register also hopes to create and spark an interest
in people new to the opportunities and possibilities available to them in the state. It gives shop owners
a place to promote, inform and even try out their writing skills
if they so desire.
The Country Register newspaper makes a handy 'carry it with
you kind of guide' and it's layout makes for the need of less
maps. It guides the reader according to areas of the state and
within a city as well as putting special shows and events into
their own section. The whole purpose is to increase the public's
awareness of the great number of shops and services available
to them within the states of Southern Idaho, Washington & Eastern Oregon.
